- The three best teams for points per shot differential are the Thunder, the Spurs and the Heat respectively.
- The Rockets have to shore up a defense that allows 1.22 points per shot, if they hope to be a legitimate title contender. The other teams around them? Phoenix, Charlotte, Dallas and Sacramento.
- The Pacers on the other hand need to find a little more offensive efficiency, ranking 18th in points per shot.
